Brush and Leaf Pickup

Leaf Pickup Dates are the weeks of Oct 20, Oct 27, Nov 3, Nov 10 and Nov 24.

Brush Collection will be week of Nov 17-21.

Please keep leaves and brush in separate piles!

No fresh cut trees please!


Leaf and Brush PlacementNo branches larger than four (4) inches in diameter or longer than four (4) feet in length. Brush does not have to be bundled, but please keep them in easy to pick up piles.

Chili Supper

Kouts Lions Club will host their Annual Chili Supper at Kouts School on Saturday, October 25 from 4-7.

Trick or Treat Night

Trick or Treat is on the 31st from 5-7.

Ham & Turkey Dinner

Kouts Music Boosters presents the 61st Annual Ham and Turkey Dinner Served in the Kouts School Cafeteria Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 4-8. Adults $12.00 Senior Citizens (65 and Older) $10.00 Children ages 6 thru 12 $8.00 Children 5 & under Free in the Dining Room Only. Carryouts available.

Market Day Pickup

The next Market Day Pickup will be Tuesday, Oct 21 from 4-5.

Kouts Pageturners at the Library

Kouts Pageturners will meet on Thursday, October 23 at 7 PM. They will discuss Ambrose Bierce's Civil War.

Books are available at the Kouts circulation desk or may be reserved by phoning 219-766-2271. Light refreshments will be served.
